About Us
The Lanka Readymix Concrete Association
- was formed in 1998 with 6 members,
- registered office being at No. 9, Kovil Veediya, Colombo 10,
- with the view to unite and equip the membership to collectively face day-to-day difficulties and problems by the Readymix producers.
We introduce
- advanced concrete technologies ,
- relevant utility products such as chemicals and their effective use by correct manner to suit the environmental conditions and finished product to be durable and serviceable.
- Above by way of organising seminars, workshops and training programs to face the rapid change of technology.
To get together and set sight
- To overcome the price escalation of raw materials
- To accommodate pricing.,
To give comprehensive details of the member readymix producers and direct the clients to the product manufacturing sites
To have regular meetings and get together to make the members to be familiar and get to know each other.
News
--------------------------------- The 25th AGM of the LRCA was held at the 2 nd fl. BRC Hall, on 30 th August 2024 at 7.00pm.
43 members from 14 member companies were represented along with 11 Special Invitees. This was followed by fellowship and dinner, with Live music provided by the band “Purple”.
The four main cash sponsors for the event were Tokyo Cement, Ultratech Cement, DHT Power Tech Cement, and Siam City Cement. M/s .DHT Power Tech Cement also generously gifted 60 nos. wall clocks to all participants, helping to make our AGM, fellowship and dinner a memorable one.
Whilst Mr. Anura Vithanage was unanimously re-elected as Chairman, MR. Vajira Jayasuriya of Sanken and Mr. Sameera Wanigasekara of ICC were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the second consecutive year.
