The Lanka Readymix Concrete Association, with the view to unite and equip membership to produce quality readymix concrete and to collectively face day-to-day difficulties and problems faced by the ready-mix producers.

Our Vision

To maintain the readymix concrete to be at the best of its quality, by way of introducing advanced technologies, to make producers use relevant utility products such as chemicals and to use them in correct manner to effectively suit the environmental conditions, making the finished product to be ‘Durable’ and ‘Serviceable’.

Readymix Concrete Division

The quality management system of our Readymix Plant bears the DNV ISO 9001 Year 2008 certification and is accredited by the RVA Netherlands.

The plant comprises a fully Computerized Batching Plant of 50 m3 per hour capacity, Main office Building, Stores, Workshop capable of handling major Repair work, a fully equipped concrete testing Laboratory with facilities for testing concrete and raw materials used in the manufacture of concrete and manned by highly trained personnel, stacking areas for sand and roofed area for metal with a water spray system, 2 No. Cement silos of total capacity 150 tons, and a rest room for the workmen.

--------------------------------- The 25th AGM of the LRCA was held at the 2 nd fl. BRC Hall, on 30 th August 2024 at 7.00pm.

43 members from 14 member companies were represented along with 11 Special Invitees. This was followed by fellowship and dinner, with Live music provided by the band “Purple”.

The four main cash sponsors for the event were Tokyo Cement, Ultratech Cement, DHT Power Tech Cement, and Siam City Cement. M/s .DHT Power Tech Cement also generously gifted 60 nos. wall clocks to all participants, helping to make our AGM, fellowship and dinner a memorable one.

Whilst Mr. Anura Vithanage was unanimously re-elected as Chairman, MR. Vajira Jayasuriya of Sanken and Mr. Sameera Wanigasekara of ICC were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the second consecutive year.
