About Informex Concreting (Pvt) Ltd.

The Readymix Concrete Industry in Sri Lanka was pioneered in1980 by Informex Construction (Pvt) Ltd together with Colcrete Pte Ltd of Singapore which formed Colcrete Lanka Pvt Ltd and which has now evolved into Informex Concreting (Pvt) Ltd to carry out the construction of the World Trade Center a flagship BOI project.

--------------------------------- The 25th AGM of the LRCA was held at the 2 nd fl. BRC Hall, on 30 th August 2024 at 7.00pm.

43 members from 14 member companies were represented along with 11 Special Invitees. This was followed by fellowship and dinner, with Live music provided by the band “Purple”.

The four main cash sponsors for the event were Tokyo Cement, Ultratech Cement, DHT Power Tech Cement, and Siam City Cement. M/s .DHT Power Tech Cement also generously gifted 60 nos. wall clocks to all participants, helping to make our AGM, fellowship and dinner a memorable one.

Whilst Mr. Anura Vithanage was unanimously re-elected as Chairman, MR. Vajira Jayasuriya of Sanken and Mr. Sameera Wanigasekara of ICC were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the second consecutive year.
